The time is drawing close for the area livestock exhibitors to get their animals ready for the upcoming Lawrence County Fair livestock show.
ALL animals except horses will be required to pre-enter.
Deadline to enter is August 8th.
Entry forms may be downloaded here at lawrencecountyarkansas.com and the forms will need to be postmarked on or before the deadline date.
All animals except rabbits and horses must be in place at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday Registration is at 6:00 p.m.
All animals entering the grounds must meet the health requirements of their particular species.
Horses do not require pre-entry; they will be entered on site at the fairgrounds.
No fee is charged for the junior livestock show to be held on Friday, however, a $10 entry fee
will be charged for the open cattle show which will be Thursday evening.
Open Show- Thursday 6 p.m. – $10 entry fee
Junior Show- Friday
Junior Livestock Premium Sale-
Junior Livestock Premium Sale Rules:
1. Exhibitor must own animal by July 15th of the current year.
2.Exhibitor may only have one animal entry entered in the premium sale.
3.The top 20 percent of total entries of each show are to be entered in the premium sale at the judge’s discretion.
